Successor to the AK 635 K, the AK 640 K delivers unmatched shredding power with a 480 kW Stage V MTU engine (+20 kW, +200 Nm) and a new stainless steel exhaust system with top-tier thermal insulation.

Built for the toughest jobs, it features a chain drive (with optional off-road chassis), a 3.5 m wide feed hopper, and a 7.5 m long discharge conveyor with over 5 m height. Ideal for large input materials like reclaimed wood, pallets, green and organic waste, logs, and roots.

Separate drives for scraper floor and feed roller optimize material flow, while easy maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and a lowering rear conveyor ensure smooth operation.
